Thanks for using our products and services (“Services”). The Services are provided by GreenMinded IT Solutions (“GMIS”), located at 115-A Fermin Jungko Street, Apovel Subdivision Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines.
By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY.
Our Services is intended for Capitol University Maritime Cadets only. If you sign up, we require you to input your CU Student ID number for us to verify that you are from Capitol University. We also have a masterlist for all the maritime students and whoever is in that masterlist are the only ones allowed to log in on the system.
Using our Services
You must follow any policies made available to you within the Services.
Don’t misuse our Services. For example, don’t allow others to access your profile and access your documents to be copied and reproduced by your co-cadets or try to register using other cadet’s information. You may use our Services only as instructed to you. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you if you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.
Using our Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access. You may not use content from our Services unless you obtain permission from its owner or are otherwise permitted by CU-OBT Office. These terms do not grant you the right to use, copy, and reproduce others documents through our Services. Don’t remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with our Services.
Our Services display content that is needed by CU-OBT Office. This content is provided by each cadet and makes it available for CU-OBT Office. We may review content to determine whether it is copied or duplicated and violates our policies, and we may remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe violates our policies or CU-OBT Office.
In connection with your use of the Services, we may send you service announcements, administrative messages, and other information through your dashboard or CU-OBT Office Facebook Profile and Pages. Please check from time to time.
Our Services is accessible through the web and can be used through internet.
Your Cadet Account
You need a Cadet Account in order to use our Services. You can create your own Cadet Account.
To protect your Cadet Account, keep your password confidential. You are responsible for the activity that happens on your Cadet Account. Try not to give your Cadet Account password on any of your co-cadet. If you recognized of any unauthorized actions happen in your Cadet Account, please notify CU-OBT Office by chatting our FB Profile and Pages.
Privacy and Copyright Protection
CU-OBT Office’s privacy policies explain how we treat your personal data and protect your privacy when you use our Services. By using our Services, you agree that CU-OBT Office can use such data in accordance with our privacy policies.
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement and terminate accounts of repeat infringers according to the process set out in the Philippine Republic Act No. 8293 or the Intellectual Property Rights and in the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
We provide information to help copyright holders manage their intellectual property online. If you think somebody is violating your copyrights and want to notify us, you can find information about submitting notices and CU-OBT Office’s policy about responding to notices in our Help Center.
Your Content in our Services
Some of our Services allow you to upload, submit, store, send or receive content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours.
When you upload, submit, store, send or receive content to or through our Services, you give CU-OBT Office’s (and those we work with) a license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute such content. The rights you grant in this license are for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our Services, and to develop new ones. This license continues even if you stop using our Services (for example, for a cadet that is already file for BS Degree). Some Services may offer you ways to access content that has been provided to that Service. Also, in some of our Services, there are terms or settings that narrow the scope of our use of the content submitted in those Services. Make sure you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any content that you submit to our Services.
Our automated systems analyze your content (including emails) to provide you and CU-OBT Office personally relevant product features, such as customized search results, and reports. This analysis occurs as the content is sent, received, and when it is stored.
If you have a Cadet Account, we may display your Profile name, Profile photo, and actions you take on CU-OBT Office to your Cadet Account and CU-OBT Office admin accounts.
You can find more information about how CU-OBT Office uses and stores content in the privacy policy or additional terms for particular Services. If you submit feedback or suggestions about our Services, we may use your feedback or suggestions without obligation to you.
About Software in our Services
CU-OBT Office gives you a personal, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive license to use the software provided to you by CU-OBT Office as part of the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the Services as provided by CU-OBT Office, in the manner permitted by these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission
Modifying and Terminating our Services
We are constantly changing and improving our Services. We may add or remove functionalities or features, and we may suspend or stop a Service altogether.
You can stop using our Services upon the completion of your BS Degree, although we’ll be sorry to see you go. CU-OBT Office may also stop providing Services to you, or add or create new limits to our Services at any time.
We believe that you own your data and preserving your access to such data is important. If we discontinue a Service, where reasonably possible, we will give you reasonable advance notice and a chance to get information out of that Service.
Our Warranties and Disclaimers
We provide our Services using a commercially reasonable level of skill and care and we hope that we are able to help you in managing your apprenticeship documents and completing your BS Degree. But there are certain things that we don’t promise about our Services.
Other than as expressly set out in these terms or additional terms, neither CU-OBT Office nor its suppliers or distributors make any specific promises about the Services. For example, we don’t make any commitments about the content within the Services, the specific functions of the Services, or their reliability, availability, or ability to meet your needs. We provide the Services “as is”.
Some jurisdictions provide for certain warranties, like the implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties
Liability for our Services
When permitted by law, CU-OBT Office, and CU-OBT Office’s suppliers and distributors, will not be responsible for loss of data, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.
To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of CU-OBT Office, and its suppliers and distributors, for any claims under these terms, including for any implied warranties, is limited to the amount you provided us to use the Services (or, if we choose, to supplying you the Services again).
In all cases, CU-OBT Office, and its suppliers and distributors, will not be liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable.
About these Terms
We may modify these terms or any additional terms that apply to a Service to, for example, reflect changes to the law or changes to our Services. You should look at the terms regularly. We’ll post notice of modifications to these terms on this page. We’ll post notice of modified additional terms in the applicable Service. Changes will not apply retroactively and will become effective no sooner than 5 days after they are posted. However, changes addressing new functions for a Service or changes made for legal reasons will be effective immediately. These terms control the relationship between CU-OBT Office and you. They do not create any third party beneficiary rights.

We build this CU-OBT Office Online Monitoring System to help CU Students or Cadets and the OBT Supervisor to explore and interact with each other in new ways.
You can use this CU-OBT Office Online Monitoring System in a way to manage your documents to be submitted to the OBT Supervisor. You can sign up for a Cadet Account if you have completed your 3 years Academic Requirements. You upload your documents using our requirement list guide or by selecting compose requirement section. And you can see also see announcements from the OBT Supervisor in your Cadet Dashboard account. Your uploaded documents will be then verified by the OBT Office.

INFORMATION CU OBT OFFICE COLLECTS
We want you to understand the types of information we collect as you use the CU-OBT Office Online Monitoring System.
We collect information to provide better services to all our users. The information CU-OBT Office collects, and how that information is used, depends on how CU-OBT Office will use to comply with the CHED protocol and requirement.
When you’re not signed in to your Cadet Account, we store the information and documents we collect with unique identifiers. This helps us to easily identify all your documents and information.
When you’re signed in, we also collect information that we store with your Cadet Account, which we treat as personal information.
THINGS YOU CREATE OR PROVIDE TO US
When you create a Cadet Account, you provide us with personal information that includes your name and a password. You also add a phone number and other details of your apprenticeship to your account. Even if you aren’t signed in to a Cadet Account, you might choose to provide us with information — like an email address to receive updates about CU-OBT Office Online Monitoring System.

When you share your information
Our platform let you share your information and documents with Shipboard Training Officers only, and sharing your documents with other cadets is not allowed such as allowing them to copy and reproduce. Remember, when you share information publicly, your content may become accessible and may results to invading your privacy.
When CU-OBT Office shares your information
We do not share your personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of CU-OBT Office except in the following cases:

We’ll share personal information outside of CU-OBT Office and upon signing up you allow us to have your consent. For example, if you something has to be settled in your BS Degree and apprenticeship, we’ll notify you before sharing your name or phone number. We’ll ask for your explicit consent to share any sensitive personal information.
For external processing
We provide personal information to our affiliates and other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. For example, we use service providers to help us with customer support.

We will share personal information outside of CU-OBT Office if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
